At the Castle Hill Middle School we believe in supporting the whole child.  We focus on instructional and developmental programs that provide students with a positive and well-rounded experience.  On the academic front, we offer targeted Academic Intervention Services, after school homework help, and Saturday school for students needing additional support.  We also offer a screened Gifted and Talented program and Regents coursework is available to all enrolled students, which is an opportunity for proficient students to accelerate their learning.  To prepare students for college and future careers, we expose every grade to a different level of readiness including day and overnight trips to colleges and universities. 

 

Castle Hill Middle School is a PBIS school.  The PBIS program includes targeted mentoring as well as group advisories and assemblies.  Our school acronym - A.R.M.O.R. - stands for Academics, Respect, Management, Organization, and Responsibility.  Students meeting these expectations - or as we say, "wearing their A.R.M.O.R" - are rewarded with Pence.  This allows them to participate in monthly "Friday Knights" activities, which include arts and crafts, day trips, and sporting events.

 

In addition to our academic and youth development programs, we have a vibrant extra-curricular environment.  We offer boys' and girls' basketball, cheerleading, soccer, flag football, visual arts, and a variety of arts residencies including Theatre for a New Audience.
