Update on School Closings...

Greetings Castle Hill Middle School family, We hope you are staying  safe and practicing recommended health guidelines. Remember to practice social distancing, avoid crowds, cough into your elbow, wash your hands frequently, disinfect, and contact a health professional if you experience fever, cough, or shortness of breath. Schools are closed until April 20. Breakfast and lunch are available at every school building. Later this week you will receive information regarding remote learning, including access to devices and internet if necessary. The DOE has already begun posting learning resources for students in grades Pre-K through 12; they are currently available online at schools.nyc.gov/learnathome. More information about remote learning, meals, and other core services will be made available for families at schools.nyc.gov. Effective Monday, March 23, Regional Enrichment Centers will be available for the children of first responders, healthcare workers, and our most vulnerable populations, with more details to follow. More details can also be found here: https://www.schools.nyc.gov/alerts/nyc-public-schools-will-close-starting-monday-march-16-2020 Again, stay safe and we look forward to supporting you through this challenging time. Sincerely, Harry Sherman
